Wedding Wire Reviews
Wedding on 3/24/2018
The Highballs were amazing at our wedding. One of their members, Paula, helped us so much before the wedding with planning and song selection. They learned some Grateful Dead songs for us which made us so happy (our favorite band). They even let my dad sit in on drums and let my wife sing a song during their set at our wedding. They are really talented musically and we received many comments from wedding guests about how good the music was. They were also super affordable for people on a budget wanting to get married. I highly recommend The Highballs! Daniel 5.0
The band was great. They had the attendees up and dancing the entire night. My husband played drums with the band for 2 songs- very accommodating and professional. Angela 5.0
Just want to thank Paula and the band for the job they did playing at my son’s wedding last month. They kept the crowd moving with a great song selection had great control over volume and were extremely accommodating with learning songs for the event. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a band for their event. Mike C. 5.0

The Highballs were an amazing at our wedding! I live in NY and had them play at our wedding in PA so I booked them solely on reviews. I made the best decision as they kept the party alive! They sounded so great and were very helpful in all of our meetings! The band worked around my schedule and learned a few new songs to make the wedding special. They responded to everyone’s requests and were a joy to have at the wedding. I would hire them for any other party I had and have already told my friends to hire them too! Kristen and Eric McKeever

We would like to thank the Highballs!
Once again they demonstrated why we have had them perform at our event for the last four years. What we did not anticipate was that they would be better than ever, thanks, in part, to the addition of new bass player “Steve” who not only shone on his axe but demonstrated a rich baritone voice, as evidenced by his rendition of “Mustang Sally”.
At one point in the evening I looked up and all five of them were singing at the same time.
(What the heck was that guys, a ninth chord?)
Only Paula’s version of “Natural Woman” could entice me to leave a delicious plate of food and go zooming out to the dance floor, but hey, you don’t get many chances to waltz at these deals so you gotta grab it while you can. Meanwhile, Dana sang “Maybe I’m amazed” while I was in line getting my food so I had to (politely) shove several members of the class of ’57 out of the way so that I could get back to the dining room. If you, or anyone you know, is looking for a band for a wedding or any type of event, I seriously suggest that you get in touch with them at

“I have attended numerous parties in the last 24 months where the Highballs played and they had everyone up and dancing and having a great time. They provided the entertainment at my stepdaughter’s wedding last year and they were tremendous.”

“You guys are wonderful! I was a wreck about choosing the music for my wedding and my father’s comment was that The Highballs are the best wedding band he ever heard. There was wall to wall people on the dance floor! Thanks again!”
Paula, I have heard so many compliments about the Highballs!
Everyone that I run into that went to the Beef n Beer last week says the band was great!
Family and friends had so much fun, especially my husband and his brothers and friends.
What party animals!
“They MADE my party…not once, but all four occasions they’ve played for us. Even my mother wanted to hire them–and she doesn’t throw parties! The worst part about having them is that no one wants to go home. Even my guests are asking me to slip them a few extra bucks to keep playing! Unquestionably, they will be at my next gathering (I’m charging at the door.) The funny thing is, I had three generations of Lawrences here and they were all rockin’ out.”
-Jan Lawrence, Author
“We’ve hired the Highballs for all of our family events, including engagements, weddings, holiday parties and they make any occasion a high-energy, dancing good time!”
-The Robertson and Gallagher Families, Plymouth Meeting
“250 High School girls and their 250 dads all singing along and dancing to Motown, Rock, Disco and Dance tunes they all know and love. The Highballs were awesome!”

I have twice hired the Highballs. The first time was for my best friend’s fortieth birthday party, and the second time was for my wedding. They were an essential part of making both occasions the awesome shindigs they were. Plus they’re fun and easy to work with. The wife and I give ‘em four thumbs up.

“They played at our son’s graduation party and I know of two other families who hired them for their parties right on the spot. It was great to see everyone laughing and dancing and really enjoying the day. Best party band around”
